History of FIFA

FiFA (The Fédération Internationale de Football Association) was founded in Paris on May 21 1904 by The Union Francaise de Sport s. several parties were involved on signing the act which would create FIFA. The following countries were involved: France, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. After awhile when the federation started taking shape they recognized the English who founded their football association in 1863. The first FIFA World Cup was opened at a brand new stadium in Montevideo on July 18, 1930. This event was the beginning of a new era in football the event was a success and it covered both sporting and financial aspects.
